  • Well folks I have been having way to much fun, not only is seeing really great and cool people, being stuck in traffic, and waiting all night to drop off two reels of cable that take four or more hours to unload because some one didn’t tell me that I was supposed to be there at 06:00 instead of 10:00 . . .

Of course this is the informational post that some of you find boring, but its my life, and its those special moments in between point A and point B and point C and point D and . . . well you get the idea, is those spots that make what I do worth doing.

So the last you guys knew I was on my way to make two drops in South Dakota, and Minnesota, so here is the continued.

Scottsville, TX to Sioux Falls, SD, Mitchell, SD, Rochester, MN and Savage, MN

You guessed it cable, I not only get paid by the mile, empty or loaded, I also get pain extra if I have to Tarp the load, $20(its worth $100) which consists of placing three 60lbs tarps on top of what ever unstable and/or odd shaped load you have, and strapping it down, Bry the great helped me with this, he will attest to its unholiness, and $20 bucks for each drop after your first drop, which means I got $60 bucks extra for having to stop four times.  I did not have to tarp, praise be to the Father.

    It was once again cable.

    Savage, MN to Shakopee, MN

    Empty, about seven miles apart.

    Shakopee, MN to Mobil, AL

Shingles, 22,000 + shingles, wrapped 22 to a bundle, and stacked on Pallets.  Something about a hurricane or three that they needed a large supply of these down there.  The fun thing about this trip is to see all the progress that is being made in Mississippi, and Alabama in getting back to regular life.  Most of the fallen trees are cut and drug out by the street to be hauled in in due time.  Roofs have temporary patches of the blue tarps nailed down, and they are putting back up all the advertising signs that got blown over.  Good republican states working and getting better, while gripping in hushed tones.  I will mention LA later.

    Mobil, AL to Mobil, AL

    Empty, four miles this time.

    Mobil, AL to Waco, TX

Steel plate, one sheet two inches thick, eight feet wide and 25 foot long.  And two more that were only an inch thick and the same size.  Got to stop by campus, hung out with the beautiful and less shy then she used to be Abby Rose, and Jeff Warren.  As well as Megan the great, Caleb to cool, Lana the happy, and Nadine one half of TNT group.  On the way out Sunday night Jeff, Abby, Grass Matt, and I went to Waffle House, and had a great time.  Abby had gotten some of her clothes dirty, and changed into some guys clothes at the house, and thought she didn’t look to good, Grass, and Jeff insisted on telling her she was still cute, I on the other hand told her she was hot and got out my camera, maybe you all will get to see the Waffle House shoot later. . . . ohh and there is the Wal-Mart Optical shoot with her trying on glasses as well.

    Waco, TX to Bonham, TX

    Empty

Bonham, TX to Tazewell, VA, Fredericksburg, VA, and Warsaw, VA

More cable, I don’t mind the extra stops, each one is worth $20 bucks.  There was a log truck who decided to dump his load in the median of the Highway on my way up to Tazewell, and caused all these dumb drivers to slow to 5mph so they could gawk and stare, which caused me to slow as well. So at 5mph I start up a 5% grade.  I never got above 10mph the whole hill, lasted about a mile.  Could have cursed out load at stupid drivers.  In Fredericksburg,(what is the city with the Longest name in the US, this has to be close) is where the above mentioned stop where I almost didn’t get unloaded because of time differences happened.

    Warsaw, VA to Norfolk, VA

Empty . . . And Amanda the really cool Atkins.  What more do I got to say, a burglar alarm, a waffle house, bad Chinese, a cool text to BeRekah about my future(I was on my way over to the buffet and there was a large group reading from their fortune cookies, and saying “In Bed” afterwords.  So after I ate I read my future “A good book is the best of friends, the same today and forever.” It wasn’t vulgar and spoke truth so I added “In Bed”.  Which made me think of my future wife, and how lacking a book really is.”

    Norfolk, VA to Houston TX

A load of 1 empty shipping container from NOAA(Northern Oceaniganic, and Atmospheric, Association) or some other bothersome government acronym.  Any way I had to back up half a mile around a building through a swerving crowded parking lot, all while not backing off the Dock into the Atlantic Ocean.  I felt like a man when I was done.  Only to drive off and leave my sandals.  I headed down to see Bear, and Paul Younger in NC.  On I-85 at exit 160 I hit dead stop traffic, it takes me three house to go five miles, then it all starts to break up.  I get to exit 150 just into Alamance County and pull into the Flying J to fuel up.  Wondering to myself, what the heck happened.  I don’t know but there were two Fox News Channel 8 satellite trucks, three SUV’s a sedan, and a Station Wagon all from the local Fox News station there. I saw nothing.

Got back out on the interstate and think to myself, may traffic is flying, I look down and notice I am only doing 35mph, but compared to standing still I am really tucking away the miles.  It finally breaks up when I-40 goes on west through Greensboro, and I head down I-85 to High something or rather and meet up with Paul.  Had a good time with home made spaghetti, and Everybody Loves Raymond re-runs.  Met this great dog named Bear.

Then I headed off to Charlotte, NC, met up with the Trines, and a girl named Megan who makes the best Banana Bread I have ever eaten, and if she is reading this, I want the recipe.  We had a good time played “Nantucket” no “Ontario” no “Kooter” no “Knump” no ”Trump” no “Kanasta” no . . . anyway we played a card game very similar to spades.  Ate steak, drank coffee and talked about life.  Good times.

    Houston, TX to Scottsville, TX

Empty, but I got to stop at a movie theater and watch four movies.  Don’t see “History of Violence”, I think they tried four different styles of movie making throughout the movie, and all of them badly.  Plus a very awkward sex scean that is to say the least unusual.  But you can see “Cry Wolf” its your basic teen horror movie, very funny,  but you already know the ending before you even sit down.  There is “Transporter 2″, not a great flick, but good martial arts, and car stunts. The best movie of all that I saw was Serenity, it has your normal Sic If cheese, but a good movie in all.  Especial compared to the others.

Scottsville, TX to Little Rock, AR, Lansing, MI, Iron Mnt., MI

I got to hand out with Mike Barker in Starbucks, bug Bryan Boeker on the phone, a direct quote “You suck, I hate you!” just before he hung up.  Also got the blessing of my life, well not really that dramatic but really good times with Autumn Ashley the Rock Star, and Bethany Banks the cool girl from New Mexico.  Good Jesus and hang time there.  When I visit Autumn it is usually 60% for her coolness, 40% coolness of her mother, father, sister, and various friends.  But then I got the added bonus of Bethany.  So it was like 150% of a good day.  I was blessed.

And now I am stuck in the west side of Nowhere MI, which is just north of Nowhere Wisconsin, where people talk funny, and sheep walk funny . . . thats an old joke . . . just ignore it if you don’t know what it means, and if you do, forgive me and go on with your life.

The good thing about Iron Mnt., MI, well I haven’t seen a mountain yet, reminds me of TX only cooler, is it is in the UP.  What did you say?  Did you just ask me what the UP is?  For goodness sakes the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  A lot of people just call it Canada, but I have never been here before, and now I have.  So it can’t be all that bad.  The leaves are changing colors there and I am surrounded by two very large bodies . . . I am tempted to leave it there but I will not . . . of salt water.

I have no idea where I am headed, but my Cable is all dropped of and I think I found a Baptist Church to annoy people at tomorrow with my Blue Camo’s, Black T-Shirt and “Wooly Booly” not shaved for three weeks face.

    I am excited.

    BlackWolf

PS I would leave another post about how my life with the Lord is going, which is fine, but the library closed at 16:00 and now it is currently 15:56 so I must go.

Love you guys, wish you were here, cause there are no cool people here, the good thing is, at least they are not french.
