  • OK tomorrow I pop the question, are you all ready?  I hope so, I thought that I would list some of my qualifications for a wife.  So you all listen up, not that it will do you any good but. . .


    Well anyway sorry about not getting in the love letter but I have been real busy, with work and sleep.  When I haven't been at work I have been sleeping and it has been really busy.  Then with all the advertising about love and all that crap my brain has been working like a train.  Which by the way is real hard.  I was going to write a fresh one but like I said it has been real busy.


    So here is my list of qualifications.

    Someone who is smart, witty, who can think on their own and is not a "yes man" or "yes woman" as it would be.  Keep in mind that smart and witty are two separate things.


    Someone who can challenge my walk with God, and I hers.  I want to have a perpetual growing relationship that with the two of us together we can accomplish more then any one of us alone.


    Someone who does not nag, this one is biblical, I do not want to live on the corner of my roof.  I want her to understand that I am who I am and that if she can't live with something before we are married don't expect me to change it afterward.  A lot of ladies are onto this thought of that "If he ain't perfect now, after we are married he will change, for me he will".  Well if he throws his underware on the floor, or leaves the toilet seat up, or balls his socks up, or wares his t-shirts for three days in a row before you get married, he is going to do it after you are married.  Now I am a good man and I would be willing to learn new ways, but I do not make any promises.  By the way, I don't do an of the above.


    Someone who can cook and clean.  I know what you are thinking, well that's not why.  The reason why is because I can cook and I can clean, and I don't want to be doing it the whole time myself, I want someone to share the chores with.  Love knows no bounds.


    Someone who will defer to my God given right to tell her what to do, and also knows the rest of that bible verse, and what it means.


    I also want someone with the most beautiful mind, body and soul in the world.  Not necessarily in that order.


    Now I know that not all women are blessed with all the perfections that I have mentioned above, but if they got most of them and are willing to work out the rest in a pre-nup(just kidding).  Anyway by no means am I perfect and I know we both will have to work on it.
