  • I went to Denver last week, and finally did it.  For the first time in my life I now own(or will own as soon as I make 59 more payments) a vehicle that is not older then I am.

I bought a Ford Focus, with a killer 1,000,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty.  The warranty also has life and accident insurance with it.  If I am laid off of work do to an injury for more then 14 days it starts to make the payments, till either I go back to work, or till the car is paid off.  And if I die, it pays the car off.

My car is dark gray and has a shade lighter gray interior.  It has power everything w/ the exception of power seats cause I chose cloth over leather.  It comes with a built in six disc CD player.  A good sound system, and a stick shift.

It is the first thing that I have ever had that is brand new.  Which makes me very excited.  I have washed it four times already.  It has also rained here in Colorado four times, what a coincidence.

When I get a pic of it I will change my pic so you all can see it.

God has blessed me so much with this car.  My whole trip to Denver has brought about a focus that I had forgotten I was focusing on in my life.

You know how you walk down the road of life and after awhile you kinda  are just walking and now looking around anymore.  You may be heading towards your goal but you aren't aware of it anymore.

I am glad to have that focus back.  A special thanks to Patrick Reid for reminding me of it.

  • Just some FYI, the pic is really not of me, but that is not to say that it hasn't happened, actually it has happened on many occations.

I just don't have a pic of it so I stole this one from somewhere.

If you look close, you can see that those are black jeans, with a brass zipper.  I ware blue camo's and when I do ware jeans, they are blue and button fly's.  The cat is close though.  Mine is longhaired.  And furry and soft and cute.  Not so skinny and ugly.

  • Note to all Casey is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Casey is dead, long live The Casey,

Please do not send flowers, I do not enjoy them too much, they smell bad most of the time.  But if do insist and sending something that grows because of dirt then make it a tall pine, or oak, or some kinda tree, trees are cool.  Money is good too.

My sister killed me.  No kidding, I am officially dead, ok maybe not officially, but at least simi-officially.

O.K. it all stated when I was 5 or so.  I being the "He-man" that I am was showing off my muscles, and agility and . . .  anyway, no need to get all prideful or anything.  I had grabbed ahold of a toe rope with a big tow hook on each end, I started out spinning as fast as I could holding one end of the toe rope, I did this till it got about two feet off of the ground(I was a little shorter at 5)

Then my lovely sister walks into it, it was not my fault I had nothing to do with it, I was not mad at her or anything, it was completely all accidental(my sister disagree's with me, but she got hit in the head and probably is either bitter or angry, or just doesn't remember it all right, you know how head wounds are.)

Anyway I got a major wooping for it, and just to let you in, it was a good ol' fashioned spanking.  You know the leather belt, wooden paddle, willow switch the whole thing, by mom, dad, and anyone else standing around.

From that time on my sister has always gotten me into trouble, and never is it my fault, ok, ok, ok, almost never.  I was a good kid and did my best to stay out of trouble, but then she walked into a tow rope and my reputation was ruined.

I could list numerous times that she got me into trouble and I didn't deserve it, in fact their are a good number of times that I wasn't even around and still got in trouble.

Anyway if you are still reading this then you want to know how I died. . .and how it was my sisters fault.  So here goes.

My sister had surgery about six weeks ago, she has always had weak ankles and they went in and cut her tendons and ligaments and sowed them back together so that they would be tight again.  Anyway about the same time my car broke down.  By the way if anyone needs a Ford 390 engine let me know.

So I was able to con my sister into letting me use her car(she doesn't think you can drive a clutch with an 18 lbs cast on, don't ask me why).  Which reminds me to tell you that I am looking for a new car, if you know of a Ford, Ranger or Explorer, late 90's, stick shift, for a good price(5000 or under, could be a little more if they will bargain)let me know.  So for the past few weeks I have been driving around this little blue nission.  It runs rather well but I don't fit into the car, I have to do acrobatics to get into it.  I have been told that if you were to watch me get in it is quite hysterical.

So I go to work this morning and off of the road there is a wrecked small blue car, the ambulance and fire department and police are all there so I don't stop.  But about 50 feet from where the car was is a body covered.  The person didn't even know they were dead till it was too late.  From what I could gather they were coming off of a steep hill with a tight curve at the bottom, they must have fallen asleep, and nose dived into the ditch, and the car flipped end over end, somewhere along the way they were tossed from the car and were probably dead before they left the car, let alone before they hit the ground.

I am thinking on my way to work that the car looks real familiar and trying to think of who I know that drives a car like that.  Then I remembered that it looks like the car I am driving.  This is how it is my sisters fault.

I prayed for whoever it was and their family that it will all bring them closer to God.

Anyway back to me, (I really ain't heartless, it's just that this is getting long) I get to work early, I am one of the first there so I leave the office and go get my semi so I can get started.

By the end of the day at least 10 people say they are glad to see that I ain't dead.  That they thought that the dead persons car was my sisters, and that I was the dead person.  So you can see how it is all my sisters fault.  Everyone thinks I am dead, and it is her fault.  I should be able to sooth peoples fears within the next few days, but boy did it send some for a loop.

I am just glad it didn't get back to my Mom, that would have been bad, she would have probably killed me when she found out that I wasn't dead, just for making her worry.  And it would have all been my sisters fault.

You see how it works, one incident with a tow rope, and boom, I am scarred for life.

This is my first post and I can't guarantee that I will be back very often, but I will try.
