  • Well I made it to Colorado, and its snowing outside. Had a good couple days. Workin some stuff out with Jesus. I would say that latley I have not been as close as I could be, couldn't take comunion two sundays ago, this sunday I couldn't either, I pray that next week is better. I must have got lazy over the holidays. Anyhoo, I want to ask . . . no I will pay you to help me out. I need to find a place to get size "L" "mid rise briefs" by Fruit Of The Loom. This is very important to me, in particular the pridedul part of me that likes to be able to say that "four of the five articals of clothing I ware are Fruit Of The Loom, and my pants are Propper." I ware only two brands, how great is that? Two black socks, a pocketless black T-Shirt, and a small variety of colors in my underware. The pants are known as Sky Blue BDU's. A really great person is going to make throw pillows out of the Blue Camo material for me, thats so stinkin cool! All right, goodnight folks.

  • Today . . . it is certainly a day. For the past three days, since coming back to work because of a break down on the first day I have not been able to drive much more them three hundred miles a day. I try my best to run 650 a day six out of seven days a week. I don't always make it that far but I try. I did make my drop in Dallas this morning, on my way to Scottsville, TX I stopped by the office of the company I work for and signed a paper for a five hundred dollar bonus twice a year. For Christmas I got a total of four bucks. TM don't even come close to that. But TM had other bonuses. Anyway I loaded a new load in Scottsville and headed to Malvern, AR. I am sitting at a Waffle House eating right now. So I best give the waitstaff some attention. Missing humans a lot after Christmas.

  • Well, I suppose it has been awhile, and you all are probablly thinking that I have died. while you dispute amongst yourselfs as to the final resting place of my soul I pop in and suprise you by stating that in fact, I am still alive. I don't even remember my last post, this post is coming from my cell phone, if you want to know how, just call and ask. Anyway I only got about 1000 characters that I can send from my cell and have used nearly half of them just to get to this point. Anyhoo just got back to work, a load from Nacogdoches, TX. to Springdale, AR. of plywood, and then empty to Prairie Grove, AR. where I picked up a load of flagstone headed back to Dallas, TX. Sitting in a truck stop listening to a hitchhiker talk about going out west. It promises to be a good year, one year ago today I made a fateful decision that started off a year of turmoil that has led me the closest to God that I have ever been. Good stuff, I suggest everyone try a little hell, to get closer to heaven.

  • So from a few responses to my previous post I think I should make what I thought was clear just a little more so. Occations when a guy should compliment specific areas of a womans body happen on a very limited basis. In fact unless he is married, and talking about the beautiful woman he is committed to, it is probably nearly always safe to assume that it is not appropriate. Some uncooth men can get away, it is fine for some store clerks, and for men whose girl fr . . . friend that happen to be a girl has given permission. Beyond that, as I stated yesterday, I love my family a lot. Got to visit church people today and drive around my home town seeing the changes. Life is great, and I can't wait to live some more of it after a good nights sleep. BlackWolf.

  • Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss something till you are finally back around it. My family is great. Sometimes poor white trash, sometimes made of pure gold, from the heart out. I love them so much. I missed my sister Sam, but got to hang out with my other sister Mary. Took Mom and Dad to Ft. Morgan, met up with Mary and we walked around Wal-mart for a couple hours. Then took all three of them to a small Italian Restaurant. No one but me ordered pasta, but it was all good, the visiting, the food, the waitstaff. I love my family. It has been a tough year for all of us, but as always we tend to look past that to what greatness lies ahead. Prayer is always useful. I can only hope that your weekends are as good as mine. Oh and sometimes a girl just needs to hear that she has a fine tush, so when APPROPRIATE don't fear to let her know, otherwise heed the wisdom that is normally telling you to keep you mouth shut. And that last line has nothing to do with my family. BlackWolf.

  • This is going to be long, but its worth it.  One great and brief story of my last week.


    So two Thursdays ago I was in the middle of AZ and pulled my Rig off and then back to the On Ramp and parked it for the night.  I had come out of Ben Wheeler, TX on my way to Sacramento, CA.  I took a walk, I had been feeling a little convicted about not praying out loud to the Lord latley.  So I did, it was almost chilly, the stars were clear and bright, and where I parked it was almost rugged, basicly if you closed one eye, squinted the other really tight, and took off you glasses you could almost pretend it was Colorado.


    I was feeling preatty good, out for a walk, praying out load when moment of stupidity, or insanly clear thought came about and I prayed . . ."Lord, I need something to happen, I need it.  I just need it, you know what I might not need it, but I really want it.  Tell you what, you know what I need, and you know what I want, you take care of it."


    The next morning I was thinking that I had recently came to a point where some old passions had died, and to me nothing like the pain of the heart help me to grow with the Lord.  I might be defective, but I seem to need to need Him, if I am not at the point of failing, and utterly depending on Him, I just don't do well.  If I am not forced to rely on Him I get lazy.  And I was feeling that point of Lazyness comming up.


    Anyway I drove up Hwy 95 from Las Vegas to Reno.  There is cell service about forty miles north of Vegas, and then nothing for an hour then ten minutes of cell service, and then nothing for hours till you are very near Reno.  I was on the phone with my Mom when some people showed up to talk to her about Mary, I let her go and told her when I got cell service I would call back and we could finish our conversation.


    I called a few other people, and watched as my cell service dropped.  I hung up with the last person and saw that a voice mail had popped up.  I checked it, it was from a friend of mine I had not heard from in a long time.  They told me to call back, I hung up the voice mail, just as my last bar of service dropped into non-existance.  More then slightly frustrating.


    Surprisingly about twenty minutes later I service again.  Cool I thought and wanted to call my friend, but I had promissed Mama I would call her.


    When I talked to her I could tell something was wrong, and asked her what, Her and my father had just stopped smoking the day before, and I was worried about her.  To get to the basics she told me that the local social services department had taken my sister Mary(Mary is metally handicapped, 29 and has been living on her own for a few years now) claiming that there was some sort of safty issue.  BS if you ask me, they have been trying to take her since we moved to town twenty years ago.  Mom was upset, Mary was scared and upset, afraid that Mom would die before she got back(Mom is far from death, but she does have her health issues) and tried to hit one of the workers with a shovel.


    I called my sister to tell her to call Mom and talk to her, cause I knew I wouldn't have cell service.  Turns out that in the last two weeks they have turned on a whole row of towers along Hwy 95 and there is broken cell service the whole way.


    Called back my friend, the family was on thier way out the door to supper, so we traded prayer requests and hung up.


    My sister called back and asked if I knew where Dad was going, and preceeded to tell me that he was on his way to a mentor of his house.  His mentors name is Mexican Joe, and he met my dad while training in the Military during the Vietname era in NY.  He and anouther guy(who is now a retired senetor) were my fathers only father figures.  His wife Lee had breast cancer and was sick.  Turns out over the weekend they pulled the plug and she died.


    I got anouther call that day and found out that if I didn't want to spend the weekend in CA I would have to drive 900 miles total for day.  So I did, who wants to stay in CA for more then they have to.


    Got a speeding ticket that ended up costing a total of nearly 700 bucks, to pay and fight.


    Was almost in a traffic accident on saterday, and barly got to my re-load on time in Santa Rosa, CA(the farthes west I belive I have ever been.)


    Got anouther call from Mom, my brother had skipped a court date and the bondsman was looking for him, out House or $32,000 on the line.


    Drove past tired to get to my good friend Patrick Reids house in LA.  Hung out with him on the side of the road for 45 min.  Best part of my weekend.


    And probably a couple of otherthings that in my poor attempt to be breif yet informative went horribaly wrong.


    I was asked this week how I was doing, my response was, "If I did know Jesus, it would be horrible, but cause I do, its doing alright."


    Over the course of this week, I finished reading the Sacred Romance, and had plenty of opportunity to pray out loud.


    Nearly everything has cleared up and resolved itself for the best.


    I got exactly what I asked for from the Lord.  I think a text I sent to a good friend of mine says it perfectly.


    ""Sometimes we need to lose the very things that have brought us a taste of the Romance, in order for the heart to move toward the real thing." I am so confused, I know I am moving, I know the story is being told, but feel lost in the pages of the book. But wait . . . what is that up ahead? It is a bookmark, a road map, a hope that is undying, a faith backed by promises fulfilled.  Not always in the way I wanted, but always perfect.  Faith, Hope, . . . lets not forget Love.  I am . . . fulfilled.  I trust Him and His actions, mostly, Dear Lord I belive, please help my unbelife.  Sorry to wake you.  Just finished The Sacred Romance.  Full of Love . . ."


    If you have not read the Sacred Romance, or got lost in it and gave up finishing it cause of the pain that it can reveal in you life, read it, finish it, pick up where you left off.  Take a few notes, think about, take it slowly.  It took me seven months to finish it.  I am better for it.


    Life right now is great.


    On a side note, I have taken 10209 pictures with my camera, just got them all burnt to CDs.  There are a few extra from other sources and some of mine I have deleted for one reason or anouther.  I just finished burning 28 cds, with 9264 files, in 254 folders with a total memory of 14463MB.  Give or take a mistake in addition.

  • Folks,


    I'd appreciate a little prayer tonight. Social Services picked up my sister Mary today. We are still trying to find out why. She is a little slow, but there was really no reason to take her. My mom is pretty upset. Then the hospital pulled life support on one of my dad's friends with cancer. On top of all that ole'smokey gave me a little speeding ticket. On the upside, I have found myself praying a lot more today. So that all for now.

  • So apperantly the bodies that I was surrounded by were not salt water, just water.


    While I did not mention those that I talk to on the phone, for those that are bitter the following should explain.


    From the date of 8-15-5 to the date of 9-14-5 I made 1490 phone calls from my cell phone.


    1201 minutes worth during the daytime hours(the ones you have to pay for)(of which 4 were international calls)


    621 minutes of Mobil to Mobil,


    3591 minutes for Nights and Weekends


    1520 call delivery/cingular free minutes (not sure what those are, but I used them appearently)


    I sent 1056 text messages,


    9 Multi-Media Messages,


    used 618 KB of download,


    and made 8 Directory Assistance calls.


    All for the base price of $56.25.  I did have to pay an extra 17.34 for the directory assistance, over text messages, and international calls.


    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you ask, how in the heck did you get such a great deal?


    Well folks there are four people on my plan, 3000 shared minutes, 200 text an every phone but mine (I have 1000 text, unlimited multimedia, and 5MB of download for me, I live on the road with out a laptop.), Nights and weekends start at 19:00(seven at night) and end at 07:00(seven in the morning).


    Four people, 225.00 a month for the phones including taxes and government fees.


    Not too shabby huh?


    Anyhoo, last time I updated I was in Iron Mountain, MI.  When I came out of the Library I found that my starter had gone out on my truck, so I got stuck in a motel for two nights till it could be fixed on Monday morning.  The worst part about that was that I did not have wheels with which to find cool places to take pics.  The good news is that I got my fill of "Deep Dish Meatlovers" Pizza Hutt pizza, as well as the eye candy of the Discovery and History, and Fox News channels.

    ~12,500 board square foot of Hard Maple for a Cabnit company(reminds me of a man named Joel Good).  Had to tarp the load, good news, the man in Hillsborro helped me untarp, WooHoo.


    Hillsborro, TX to Ben Wheeler, TX


    Empty.  Stuck in Van, tecnically my home, for four days, leave tommorow.  They were working on my truck, replacing the starter.  Had a great time, took BeRekah and Monty to Billy Bobs of Texas for a Merle Haggard Concert.  Good ole country music, I was much more thrilled with it they they were.  We played some pool, kicked Monty back home at two am so she could get some sleep for school or work or something at six am.  Took Beks to see where JFK bit the big one.  Thats in Dallas on Elm Street by the way.


    Went to Church and hung out with the one and only, the beutiful, the wonderful, the lovely Abby Rose, and Bekah, and Rivka, and Adriene, and Jeff Warren, and stopped in to quickly bug Ashley,(Brads Girlfriend) and Megan the Great Clark.  Got Megan a cup of rocks for the special time, and broke into her car to leave them there for her as a surprise the second time.


    TM for the computer, and now headed home to sleep.

  • Well folks I have been having way to much fun, not only is seeing really great and cool people, being stuck in traffic, and waiting all night to drop off two reels of cable that take four or more hours to unload because some one didn't tell me that I was supposed to be there at 06:00 instead of 10:00 . . .


    Of course this is the informational post that some of you find boring, but its my life, and its those special moments in between point A and point B and point C and point D and . . . well you get the idea, is those spots that make what I do worth doing.


    So the last you guys knew I was on my way to make two drops in South Dakota, and Minnesota, so here is the continued.


    Scottsville, TX to Sioux Falls, SD, Mitchell, SD, Rochester, MN and Savage, MN


    You guessed it cable, I not only get paid by the mile, empty or loaded, I also get pain extra if I have to Tarp the load, $20(its worth $100) which consists of placing three 60lbs tarps on top of what ever unstable and/or odd shaped load you have, and strapping it down, Bry the great helped me with this, he will attest to its unholiness, and $20 bucks for each drop after your first drop, which means I got $60 bucks extra for having to stop four times.  I did not have to tarp, praise be to the Father.


    It was once again cable.


    Savage, MN to Shakopee, MN


    Empty, about seven miles apart.


    Shakopee, MN to Mobil, AL


    Shingles, 22,000 + shingles, wrapped 22 to a bundle, and stacked on Pallets.  Something about a hurricane or three that they needed a large supply of these down there.  The fun thing about this trip is to see all the progress that is being made in Mississippi, and Alabama in getting back to regular life.  Most of the fallen trees are cut and drug out by the street to be hauled in in due time.  Roofs have temporary patches of the blue tarps nailed down, and they are putting back up all the advertising signs that got blown over.  Good republican states working and getting better, while gripping in hushed tones.  I will mention LA later.


    Mobil, AL to Mobil, AL


    Empty, four miles this time.


    Mobil, AL to Waco, TX


    Steel plate, one sheet two inches thick, eight feet wide and 25 foot long.  And two more that were only an inch thick and the same size.  Got to stop by campus, hung out with the beautiful and less shy then she used to be Abby Rose, and Jeff Warren.  As well as Megan the great, Caleb to cool, Lana the happy, and Nadine one half of TNT group.  On the way out Sunday night Jeff, Abby, Grass Matt, and I went to Waffle House, and had a great time.  Abby had gotten some of her clothes dirty, and changed into some guys clothes at the house, and thought she didn't look to good, Grass, and Jeff insisted on telling her she was still cute, I on the other hand told her she was hot and got out my camera, maybe you all will get to see the Waffle House shoot later. . . . ohh and there is the Wal-Mart Optical shoot with her trying on glasses as well.

    Bonham, TX to Tazewell, VA, Fredericksburg, VA, and Warsaw, VA


    More cable, I don't mind the extra stops, each one is worth $20 bucks.  There was a log truck who decided to dump his load in the median of the Highway on my way up to Tazewell, and caused all these dumb drivers to slow to 5mph so they could gawk and stare, which caused me to slow as well. So at 5mph I start up a 5% grade.  I never got above 10mph the whole hill, lasted about a mile.  Could have cursed out load at stupid drivers.  In Fredericksburg,(what is the city with the Longest name in the US, this has to be close) is where the above mentioned stop where I almost didn't get unloaded because of time differences happened.


    Warsaw, VA to Norfolk, VA


    Empty . . . And Amanda the really cool Atkins.  What more do I got to say, a burglar alarm, a waffle house, bad Chinese, a cool text to BeRekah about my future(I was on my way over to the buffet and there was a large group reading from their fortune cookies, and saying "In Bed" afterwords.  So after I ate I read my future "A good book is the best of friends, the same today and forever." It wasn't vulgar and spoke truth so I added "In Bed".  Which made me think of my future wife, and how lacking a book really is."


    Norfolk, VA to Houston TX


    A load of 1 empty shipping container from NOAA(Northern Oceaniganic, and Atmospheric, Association) or some other bothersome government acronym.  Any way I had to back up half a mile around a building through a swerving crowded parking lot, all while not backing off the Dock into the Atlantic Ocean.  I felt like a man when I was done.  Only to drive off and leave my sandals.  I headed down to see Bear, and Paul Younger in NC.  On I-85 at exit 160 I hit dead stop traffic, it takes me three house to go five miles, then it all starts to break up.  I get to exit 150 just into Alamance County and pull into the Flying J to fuel up.  Wondering to myself, what the heck happened.  I don't know but there were two Fox News Channel 8 satellite trucks, three SUV's a sedan, and a Station Wagon all from the local Fox News station there. I saw nothing.


    Got back out on the interstate and think to myself, may traffic is flying, I look down and notice I am only doing 35mph, but compared to standing still I am really tucking away the miles.  It finally breaks up when I-40 goes on west through Greensboro, and I head down I-85 to High something or rather and meet up with Paul.  Had a good time with home made spaghetti, and Everybody Loves Raymond re-runs.  Met this great dog named Bear.


    Then I headed off to Charlotte, NC, met up with the Trines, and a girl named Megan who makes the best Banana Bread I have ever eaten, and if she is reading this, I want the recipe.  We had a good time played "Nantucket" no "Ontario" no "Kooter" no "Knump" no "Trump" no "Kanasta" no . . . anyway we played a card game very similar to spades.  Ate steak, drank coffee and talked about life.  Good times.


    Houston, TX to Scottsville, TX


    Empty, but I got to stop at a movie theater and watch four movies.  Don't see "History of Violence", I think they tried four different styles of movie making throughout the movie, and all of them badly.  Plus a very awkward sex scean that is to say the least unusual.  But you can see "Cry Wolf" its your basic teen horror movie, very funny,  but you already know the ending before you even sit down.  There is "Transporter 2", not a great flick, but good martial arts, and car stunts. The best movie of all that I saw was Serenity, it has your normal Sic If cheese, but a good movie in all.  Especial compared to the others.


    Scottsville, TX to Little Rock, AR, Lansing, MI, Iron Mnt., MI


    I got to hand out with Mike Barker in Starbucks, bug Bryan Boeker on the phone, a direct quote "You suck, I hate you!" just before he hung up.  Also got the blessing of my life, well not really that dramatic but really good times with Autumn Ashley the Rock Star, and Bethany Banks the cool girl from New Mexico.  Good Jesus and hang time there.  When I visit Autumn it is usually 60% for her coolness, 40% coolness of her mother, father, sister, and various friends.  But then I got the added bonus of Bethany.  So it was like 150% of a good day.  I was blessed.


    And now I am stuck in the west side of Nowhere MI, which is just north of Nowhere Wisconsin, where people talk funny, and sheep walk funny . . . thats an old joke . . . just ignore it if you don't know what it means, and if you do, forgive me and go on with your life.


    The good thing about Iron Mnt., MI, well I haven’t seen a mountain yet, reminds me of TX only cooler, is it is in the UP.  What did you say?  Did you just ask me what the UP is?  For goodness sakes the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  A lot of people just call it Canada, but I have never been here before, and now I have.  So it can't be all that bad.  The leaves are changing colors there and I am surrounded by two very large bodies . . . I am tempted to leave it there but I will not . . . of salt water.


    I have no idea where I am headed, but my Cable is all dropped of and I think I found a Baptist Church to annoy people at tomorrow with my Blue Camo's, Black T-Shirt and "Wooly Booly" not shaved for three weeks face.


    I am excited.
